This is the first post on my new page. I haven't updated my reading blog on my other teacher page in a looong time, so here are some of the books I have read and some of the books I will soon be reading. Don't forget to read, read, read!
I love this series by Meg Cabot about a former pop princess whose mother steals all of her earnings so she works as a residence hall director at a fictional New York college. She also happens to solve mysteries on the side. A quick, fun read.
This book was just released today, so I am excited to finish the book I am currently reading so I can start reading this one. A Time to Kill is my favorite Grisham book, and I look forward to reuniting with the main character Jake in this novel.
I am about two-thirds through this one. It took me some time to get back into the "Bridget" style, but I am enjoying it!
I started reading on a Kindle two years ago. I never thought I would like a Kindle, but Iove having hundreds of books with me at all times. I often pre-order books months before they are released, and sometimes I forget about them until I open my Kindle on a Tuesday morning and there it is! It's almost like Christmas! :-) I've always loved mysteries, especially those is serial form. I've been reading Paretsky for years, so I am looking forward to getting to this one in a week or two.
